GIG HARBOR, WA — Gig Harbor police on Friday used Facebook to request help from the community in identifying suspects from two separate and unrelated incidents that occurred recently.

Post One:

On the evening of June 2, a man reportedly asked a fast food restaurant employee for help jumpstarting his white Volkswagen GTI. Agreeing to assist, the employee borrowed jumper cables from a co-worker and went about jumping the suspect's vehicle.

After getting the suspect's vehicle started, the employee went to put the jump cables back in the restaurant. While she was away, the suspect got into the employee's car and took her cell phone.
