Gig Harbor BoatShop's 10th Annual Auction Begins Thursday
This year the auction will be held remotely due to health and safety concerns.
GIG HARBOR, WA — A Gig Harbor tradition is returning this week, though it's going to look a little different from usual because of the pandemic.
Starting Thursday, the Gig Harbor BoatShop will be hosting its 10th annual auction. Because of the coronavirus, the auction will be held entirely virtually.
Interested parties can register to participate online. The auction begins at 5 p.m. Thursday and Runs through 9 p.m. June 4. During that time they'll be selling all sorts of goods, from telescopes to model boats, even a 6'6" pram.

Money raised by the auction will support the non-profit boatshop in their efforts to maintain the historic Eddon Boatyard, which has been a Gig Harbor staple since 1945.
