Gig Harbor Lowers Flags In Remembrance Of Boulder Victims
Flags will remain at half-staff through Saturday.
GIG HARBOR, WA — The City of Gig Harbor has ordered flags be lowered to half-staff in honor of the victims of the recent mass shooting in Boulder.
Monday, a gunman went on a rampage at a Boulder grocery store which left 10 people dead. The victims aged from 20 to 65-years-old and included the first police officer on the scene.

A suspect has been arrested, identified as 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa. Investigators have not yet identified a motive for the attack.
In response to the tragedy, Gig Harbor officials have lowered flags at all city buildings to remember the victims whose lives were taken. Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset Saturday.
