Gig Harbor Seafood Restaurant Named 'Top 50' In U.S.
Tides Tavern made a list of top 50 seafood restaurants in the U.S.
GIG HARBOR, WA - A local seafood restaurant has been named one of the top 50 in the U.S. Tides Tavern has been in Gig Harbor since 1910, when it started off as a general store. The restaurant known as the Tides Tavern, however, didn't open until 1973.
"This charming, down-home tavern on the water boasts lovely views and a big menu featuring excellent seafood dishes, in addition to a more general pub-style menu. Try the Niçoise salad or the mango crab cocktail for something fresh and light," the review of Tides Tavern reads.
The list of top 50 restaurants was written by the website Gourmandize and later published on the MSN homepage.
