Gig Harbor Trolley Service Returns This Weekend
After taking a year off for the COVID-19 pandemic, the trolley is coming back just in time for summer.
GIG HARBOR, WA — The Gig Harbor Trolley is coming back just in time for summer.
After taking last summer off the for the COVID-19 pandemic, Pierce Transit confirms the trolley will be back in business starting this Sunday. The service will run through Sept. 2.
Pierce Transit says riders can expect new trolley vehicles this year — but promise they'll still have that same old-timey trolley feel.

The Gig Harbor Trolley (formally Pierce Transit's Route 101) runs between the waterfront, Harbor Hill and Uptown every 30 minutes.

Tickets cost just 50 cents for a ride, or one dollar for an all day pass. Rides are free for children five and under, and for seniors and individuals with disabilities who have Regional Reduced Fare Permits.
