Gig Harbor's National Night Out Set for Aug. 6
National Night Out is a "community-wide" block party designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, promote neighborhood spirit and build police-community partnerships.

On Tuesday, Aug. 6, the community of Gig Harbor is invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide to gather together for National Night Out on the lawn at the Gig Harbor Civic Center, 3510 Grandview St.
A fun community-wide event from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. will include a delicious free BBQ and live music with the contemporary rock band “Third in Line” performing from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
