Here's How Much Former Gig Harbor Meth Lab Homes Cost Now

GIG HARBOR, WA - Some homes have leaky roofs, shoddy wiring, and even asbestos. Other homes were once used to manufacture methamphetamine.

According to the Drug Enforcement Agency's National Clandestine Laboratory Register, dozens of homes across Pierce County have been used to make meth dating back as far as the 1990s. The Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department keeps track of the homes and offers resources to clean them up, and state law requires contaminated homes be inspected.
