Jackknifed Semi Closes Westbound SR-16 In Gig Harbor
Gig Harbor police are responding to a major crash on State Route 16 midday Wednesday.
GIG HARBOR, WA — Police are sounding the alarm that a semi truck clash is causing a major road closure in Gig Harbor.
According to police, at around 1:30 p.m. a semi truck jackknifed and crashed on SR-16. The crash and resulting response have completely closed the westbound lanes near Burnham Drive.
The cause of the crash is unknown. It's also unknown if there have been any injuries or if there were any other vehicles involved.
