Lets do art

Watercolor classes and drawing workshop at the Harbor History Museum

Sherri Bails is an artist and has been a local art teacher for over 25 years. She will be teaching her classes in connection with the Harbor History Museum, starting Tuesday, September 10, at the flagship store for Cutters Point Coffee Shop on Olympic Dr., from 1:30 to 3:30pm. Students will start there, so she can give them the extra attention they deserve. These classes go on for 8 weeks. Then on Saturday, October 13, from 12--5pm., at the Museum, she will be teaching a workshop called," Lets Draw." This is designed for anyone who has ever said..."I can't draw a decent stick figure, I think I can't draw at all," or "I have been told I can't draw, I have always wanted to learn to draw but haven't drawn anything in years," or..."I don't know where to begin." Students will learn to begin to "see"; to use dots, and pencil perspective.

Sherri's goal has been to first inspire, then to encourage, and last to mentor each student. She shows each student that they have their own special style, and she helps them find it. If either of these classes interest you, please email Sherri Bails at sjbailsart@yahoo.com for more details and to sign up for the classes. Both of them have student limits.
