Maintenance Project May Impact Gig Harbor Commuters Thursday

Work at the Wastewater Treatment Plant is like to cause traffic delays and interruptions, according to the city.

GIG HARBOR, WA — Commuters will want to be aware of maintenance project that's likely to cause some traffic delays later this week.

The City of Gig Harbor says Thursday crews will be working on the Wastewater Treatment Plant at the intersection of Harborview Drive and Stinson Avenue.

Maintenance will start at 8:30 a.m. and last an indeterminate amount of time. While they're working, the left turn from Harborview onto Stinson Avenue will be completely blocked. The city says that's likely to cause minor traffic delays or stoppages, so they're advising drivers to plan ahead and find an alternate route if possible.
