Make Mother’s Day Brunch, Dinner Reservations Now In Gig Harbor
More eateries in Washington may be open for Mother's Day 2021, but it's a good idea to reserve a spot now.
GIG HARBOR, WA — Everything Mom has done over the past year of the coronavirus pandemic should add up to an extra-special 2021 Mother’s Day celebration on Sunday, May 9. To start her the day off right, how about taking Mom to her favorite Gig Harbor brunch or dinner spot?
Restaurants and eateries are still limiting seating under the Healthy Washington guidelines, so making a reservation early is especially important this year. And if you're still undecided about going to a sit-down restaurant, curbside pickup or delivery remains an option in many places.
There are a few restaurants in Gig Harbor that are always good bets to pamper Mom, including:

- Brix 25, located right on the waterfront at 3315 Harborview Drive. The restaurant was named one of OpenTable's 50 Seattle Restaurants to Connect In For Mother's Day, in part because of their menu, which ranges from simple burgers to Thai curry mussels, and is complimented by a full bar with wine and cocktails. Reservations are available on OpenTable, though slots are limited.
- Anthony's at Gig Harbor, which can be found in the Finholm Marketplace on the water, offers farm-to-table seafood and steak, plus a beautiful view of the harbor and Mt. Rainier. The restaurant allows to-go and pickup orders online, but also has a few remaining dine-in Mother's Day slots available on OpenTable.
But again, call ahead for reservations; some of your local favorites may be closed on Mother’s Day so the moms who work there can have a day off with their families.
Many restaurants offer prix fixe menus, signature cocktails, decadent desserts and five-star service.
