Passport To The Holidays Starts Monday In Gig Harbor

Passport To The Holidays is a month-long shopping and dining event organized by the Downtown Waterfront Alliance.

GIG HARBOR, WA — After a seemingly endless pandemic lockdown and with little relief on the horizon, it might not be the worst idea to treat yourself and your family to a little retail therapy this holiday season. That's where Passport to the Holidays comes in.

Organized by the Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance, Passport to the Holidays is a month-long shopping and dining promotion encouraging community members to shop local this holiday season.

Here's how it works: starting Monday and running through Sunday, Dec. 6, anyone who spends $25 or more at four of the forty participating waterfront businesses will be entered into a raffle to win one of five gift basket prizes. Organizers keep track of who is participating through passports, which are available at any participating business. When a customer has spent the required amount at the business, they will then have their passport stamped. Get four stamps and the passport is completed, and can be turned in for a raffle ticket. Organizers say participants can complete as many passports as they'd like, to increase their odds of winning.
