Peninsula Schools Ask Families What They Need For Remote Learning

The district is asking families to take part in a survey to help meet everyone's technology needs.

GIG HARBOR, WA — Like many school districts across Washington, the Peninsula School District will be resuming entirely remotely when the school year starts next month.

But remote learning brings a unique challenge for the district: kids need computers and other tech to be able to successfully learn online, and the schools want to make sure they have access to all the supplies they need.

To that end, the district has launched a technology needs survey, asking families what kind of support they need and how the district can get it to them. The survey can be found here.

The district says the survey will be active through Friday, after which they'll take a look at the results and reassess how they can help families in need. Families who need internet support and have further questions about remote learning are encouraged to contact their child's schools.
