SR-16 Rollover Likely To Cause Lingering Traffic Delays

A two-car rollover collision on SR-16 westbound in Tacoma is likely to cause some headaches for commuters this evening.

TACOMA, WA — A rollover crash on SR-16 is likely to cause traffic backups for commuters Monday afternoon.

According to Washington State Patrol, at around 4:30 p.m. two cars collided and rolled on westbound SR-16 just west of S. Tyler Street in Tacoma.

The crash briefly closed two lanes of westbound SR-16, and though both were reopened less than half an hour after the collision, troopers say to drivers should expect lingering delays throughout the evening.
