Tennessee Woman Wins Gig Harbor HGTV Dream Home
A 29-year-old Nashville woman was selected out of 123 million entries.

GIG HARBOR, WA - A 29-year-old woman from the Nashville area has won the 2018 HGTV Dream Home contest. The 3,500 square-foot, million-dollar home on Henderson Bay in Gig Harbor features sweeping views of Puget Sound.
Winner Emily Muniz was picked as winner from approximately 123 million people who entered, according to the TV network. The total grand prize - including the home and a new Honda Accord - is worth about $1.8 million.
Muniz and her husband fell in love with the home after seeing it on an HGTV special broadcast on New Year's Day. She and her husband submitted four entries per day, every day. But she still didn't like her chances.

Muniz and her family will get a chance to tour this home in the coming weeks, according to HGTV. Viewers can see Muniz' reaction to winning on May 25 on the "HGTV Dream Home Giveaway Special" premier.
