Today in Gig Harbor: The Beatniks To Play at Skansie Brothers Park

Tonight, The Beatniks will take the stage at Skansie Brothers Park for another rocking show.

And with thousands of visitors expected to attend, organizers are asking that attendees allow plenty of time to get there and bring patience.

The show is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Due to heavy traffic, concert goers are encouraged to carpool or take the Pierce Transit Trolley. Click here for the trolley schedule.

• Chairs may be placed in the park after 8a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, – no ropes or ties are allowed around your chairs
• No umbrellas or canopies will be allowed
• Harborview Drive will close at 4 p.m. so plan ahead
• Gig Harbor Parks are non-smoking and no alcoholic beverages allowed
• It is advised to leave pets at home
  

Restaurants will be on site taking orders and delivering food to the park. Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of this service and support our local businesses.
