Two Car Crash, Rollover On State Route 16 In Gig Harbor
Police say the collision may cause lingering traffic through the rest of Wednesday evening.
GIG HARBOR, WA — Gig Harbor Fire and Gig Harbor Police have both been called to a two car collision and rollover on State Route 16 Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, the crash happened on SR-16's westbound on the exit lane to SR-302, also known as Purdy Drive. It's unknown what caused the crash, only that two cars collided and at least one of them rolled.
Gig Harbor Fire says their medics are on scene and are currently checking for any potential injuries.

Meanwhile, police say it will take some time to clear the road and complete their investigation, so they're advising drivers to find alternate routes through the area for the foreseeable future.
