Voice Your Opinions for Downtown Gig Harbor's Future

The University of Washington students are now in their 7th week of a 10-week program to study downtown Gig Harbor.

The second open house presentation of their ideas is set for this Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Skansie Brothers house on Harborview.  

The public is invited to drop in, view their ideas, ask questions and give opinions.  

The students' final report will be presented on Aug. 21; the public will be invited. 

They will also publish a 150-page book summarizing their ideas and recommendations.

This study by the University of Washington School of Architecture and Planning is being sponsored by the Downtown Waterfront Alliance with the support of the Helix Design Group of Tacoma.
