Warmer, Drier Weather Ahead in Gig Harbor This Week

After a few weeks of April Showers, the upcoming week in Gig Harbor calls for a much drier and warmer weather.

The National Weather Service in Seattle is predicting plenty of sunshine with temperatures climbing to a high of 66 degrees on Wednesday.

Here’s the full forecast for this week:

• Monday: Sunny, with a high near 59. North northeast wind around 8 mph.

• Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 36. North northeast wind 5 to 9 mph.

• Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 63. Calm wind becoming northeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.

• Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40. North northeast wind 8 to 11 mph.

• Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 66. Northeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light in the afternoon.

• Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42.

• Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 63.

• Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.

• Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 61.
