We wanted to take time today to say Thank You! To Every Unknown Person, Stranger or the people who we don't even know, that reached out to help in some little way. That your random act of kindness touched our hearts and we want to acknowledge whoever you are, to know we haven't forgotten you.
To Fire Rescue team that came out in a Storm to save us when needed to be saved when our boat couldn't handle waves and to all the bystanders who called 911, While I myself was on the phone with the dispatcher who said so many calls had already been reported.
To the woman who handed my wife a meal voucher with tears in your eyes after we stepped out of the ambulance, you fed us that night! Thank you so much!

To the people of Gig Harbor and various churches that had brought us food, bottled water, even baby wipes but also replaced my son and my own glasses so we could see. You truly Blessed us!
To the gentleman who brought me 5 gallons of gas when COVID-19 first started and my family was stuck on a Mooring buoy on our first trip out on a boat through Covos pass without taking extra supplies. No one else saw our struggle, but You did! (and thank you for the gas can you said to keep).

And a special thank you to the unnamed woman, her family and friends who went above and beyond in help by always being there for us before and after. God bless you always. (You know who you are).
We arrived in Washington unaware the COVID-19 had shut everything down the day we arrived last March and stayed in a tent 14 days. Then a young man who had advertised a boat for $1,000 then ended up gifting it is how we survived COVID-19 Pandemic.
My family of 3 and a dog began living on a 26ft sailboat almost 8 months sheltering in place after losing everything back home in Ohio by not being able to return, then losing everything again last October with the boat incident.
To those that brought us clothes, food and helped get us into a temporary shelter of a motel during this time, there isn't enough words to describe the kindness. For giving us a Holiday meals and presents for our son who is on the Autistic Spectrum, you brought a much needed smile to him during a hard time.
I cannot repay what anyone has given freely from their Heart or have went out of their way to do even the smallest act of kindness, like providing a simple stamped envelope for us.
You are the real heroes in giving back that doesn't compare to all the rescuing I have ever done over time. It all was given back to me and we thank All of you who know who you are.
We wish to make a request to please share this post now, because unfortunately the rents here are higher than my income. We fear moving into a place we cannot afford, then possibly lose everything all over again.
* Our hope is to get the word out there. *
We are seeking another boat to live on, even if this means not having permanent mooring and we appeal to You the Reader, should you know of someone who was thinking of getting rid of one, our family would be grateful for your assistance in making this happen.
I know this is a lot to ask, but without asking for your help, we cannot possibly do this on our own.
* Please use messenger to reach us. *
(Thank you for your time in reading this and God Bless All the people out there that do the things you do and that makes YOU the Hero!).
