Week-Long Hunt Street Closure Starts Soon

GIG HARBOR, WA - Gig Harbor residents should prepare for an upcoming street closure that will last five days.

Hunt Street Northwest will be closed 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. July 16 to 20. The closure affect both directions of Hunt Street between 43rd Avenue Court Northeast (about one block west of Wollochet Drive) and Skansie Avenue.

According to Gig Harbor police, residents affected by the closure will still be able to access their homes. Emergency vehicles will also be allowed through. All other drivers will be detoured around construction in the area.
