I stopped by the Gig Harbor Farmers Market today - the first of the season - and chatted with several vendors.
One of them, Sara Martin of Fox Island-based Talia Soaps, had an array of sweet-smelling bars and lotions on her table.

She and other vendors say they'll be offering goods every week. The Gig Harbor Farmers Market will run 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., every Sunday and Wednesday at Skansie Brothers Park.
The market will also run 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturdays at Uptown Gig Harbor.
