1 Arrested After Deadly Tacoma Shooting
One man has died, and another is behind bars after a deadly shooting Thursday night in Tacoma.
TACOMA, WA — Police have arrested a suspect who they say was behind a deadly shooting late Thursday night in Tacoma.
Police say that around 7:40 p.m. their officers were called to a shooting at the intersection of 6th and S M Streets. When they arrived, officers found a man unresponsive and with gunshot wounds.
Officers called for medics while they tried to keep the victim stable, and while the Tacoma Fire Department was able to rush the 38-year-old man to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead shortly after they arrived.

Crews investigated the scene for hours Thursday night, and say they found enough information to lead them to a suspect.
That suspect, identified only as a 33-year-old man, was arrested and booked into the Pierce County Jail early Friday morning. Officers say they expect him to be charged with murder in the second degree.
