$7.1 Million Military Housing Project Begins At JBLM

The renovation project will take six years, and impact 429 homes in the Davis Hill Community.

LAKEWOOD, WA — Joint Base Lewis-McChord and Lincoln Military Housing have committed to a $7.1 million housing project to renovate hundreds of homes on the base.

The construction project, which began at the tail end of last month and is projected to take six years to fully complete, will be centered around JBLM's Davis Hill Community.

When finished, Lincoln Military Housing says they'll have renovated 429 homes, overhauling both the exterior and the interior. Improvements will include larger bedrooms and more open floor plans, new siding and trim, plus the conversion of existing carports into full garages.

“We are excited about the changes this project will bring to the Davis Hill Community,” said Kevin Clarke, Lincoln Military Housing's National Vice President of Construction & Environmental Services. “These renovations will provide our military families with floor plans, features, and finishes that mirror those of housing off-post."
