Aerospace Summit Returns to Clover Park Technical College

Pierce County will be hosting the second annual Aerospace Summit this Wednesday, July 17  at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood.

The summit, which features a presentation by Boeing’s manager for workforce development, offers valuable updates from experts in manufacturing technology and workforce training as the region continues its push for a larger stake in the global market.

The summit is co-hosted by Pierce County Executive Pat McCarthy and the Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County. 

Last year’s inaugural summit connected 150 people representing aerospace suppliers, government agencies, banks and schools.
