Car Crash Causes Power Outage In Lakewood, JBLM
Tacoma Public Utilities announced the power outage just after 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Power was restored by 11:30 a.m.
LAKEWOOD, WA — A knocked down power pole was reportedly responsible for a widespread power outage in the north Lakewood area Thursday morning.
Tacoma Public Utilities reported the outage just after 10:30 a.m., noting roughly 4,000 residents were affected. At 11 a.m., TPU announced on Facebook the outage was caused by a car that crashed into and downed a power pole.
Power was restored around 11:45 a.m.
