Car Plows Into Parkland Home: Resident Injured, Driver Missing
The victim has been taken to the hospital but is expected to recover. Meanwhile, deputies are trying to track down the escaped driver.

PARKLAND, WA — Deputies are searching for the driver who plowed a car into a Parkland home and put a man in the hospital.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, Monday morning a Parkland man had been minding his own business in the comfort of his living room, when a Ford Mustang burst into his house.

The resident was hurt by falling debris and briefly trapped under a collapsed wall. Shortly after arriving, deputies were able to free the man and get him to a nearby hospital for treatment. He is reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.

Now, deputies say they are working to track down the Mustang's driver, who fled the scene on foot shortly after the chaotic crash. No suspect description has been released.
