Heads up, Lakewood parents: The Clover Park School District has released its list of important dates for the 2013-14 school year.

• Aug. 27: Professional Development (All Certificated Staff)
• Aug. 28: Professional Development (Elementary)
• Aug. 29: Professional Development (Secondary)
• Sept. 2: Labor Day
• Sept. 3: First Day of School
• Nov. 11 Veterans Day (no school)
• Nov. 27: Early Release
• Nov. 28-29: Thanksgiving Break (no school) 
• Dec. 23-Jan. 3, 2014: Winter Break (no school)
• Jan. 20: Martin Luther King, Jr. (no school)
• Jan. 31: Semester Break (no school, estimated date)
• Feb. 14-17: Presidents Day Weekend Break (no school)
• March 31-April 4: Spring Break
• May 23: No School Day (snow make-up day, if needed)
• May 26: Memorial Day (no school)
• June 13: Last day of school (early release)

The district said dates for parent teacher conferences and professional development half days will be determined at a later date.
