If you live near Joint Base Lewis-McChord, expect a little extra noise this week.
LAKEWOOD, WA — Residents of Lakewood who live near Joint Base Lewis-McChord will want to prepare for some extra noise this week.
The base announced Monday that they will be conducting artillery and demolitions training from noon to midnight Tuesday through Friday.
During artillery training, JBLM Army units fire live munitions into a designated "artillery impact area" on JBLM's main campus.
