TACOMA, WA — A suspected drunk driver is behind bars after a series of collisions in Tacoma Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Tacoma Police Department, the accused DUI driver had been visiting the Burger King on S. 38th Street, but as they pulled out they hit an SUV, and careened across the road south into the Chevron in front of the Brown Bear Car Wash. That's where they crashed into a second car— and a gas pump. Police say that second car had a 7-year-old child and mother inside, but fortunately both were unharmed.
