Lakewood Police Search Suspect In Hold-Ups At Ladybug Espressos
Police say one suspect is responsible for a pair of robberies at two different coffee stands - and want to catch him before a third.
LAKEWOOD, WA — Police in Lakewood are hoping the public can help them track down a suspect who they believe is behind a pair of hold-ups at two Ladybug Espresso coffee stands.
According to police, the first happened Feb. 25 at the Ladybug Espresso stand on Bridgeport Way.
In that incident, the suspect drew a black semiautomatic handgun, and ordered the barista to empty the stand's money into a plastic shopping bag.

He got away, but police say he pulled the same stunt again just two days later at another Ladybug Espresso — this one in the 10400 block of S Tacoma Way.
Suspect descriptions from both hold-ups match, and the same car was used in each robbery, leading police to believe they were the same man.
