Lakewood's Towne Center Clinic Now Offering J&J Vaccine

Not only does the clinic still take walk-ups, but now residents can pop in, get the single dose shot and be done with it.

LAKEWOOD, WA — Lakewood's Towne Center Vaccine Clinic just keeps getting more convenient.

The clinic, which was among the first in the county to offer walk-up, no appointment vaccinations, is now offering the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine to eligible patients 18 and older.

The Towne Center clinic can be found at 10330 59th Ave SW Suite B at the old Dress Barn building. It's open 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Anyone who is interested can secure a J&J shot by visiting the health department's vaccine portal at tpchd.org/vaxtothefuture, or by calling (253) 649-1412 any time between 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m., seven days a week.

However, anyone who can't register in advance for whatever reason, is invited to come down to the walk-in clinic any time. According to the health department, the clinic can serve about 50 walk-in appointments every day — and if they run out, walk-in patients can easily be scheduled for a future appointment.
