Late Night, Large Scale Training Begins Wednesday At JBLM
Crews will be training with demolitions, so neighbors should expect some extra noise the next few days.
LAKEWOOD, WA — Anyone who lives near Joint Base Lewis-McChord will want to prepare for some extra noise this week.
The base confirms that their units will be conducting a large scale training operation, which will include demolitions training, starting 12 a.m. Wednesday and running through midnight Friday. During that time, crews will be training day and night, so theres the potential for extra noise at all hours.
As always, residents who want to learn more about the training can do so by visiting JBLM's website. Noise complaints can also be filed over the phone by calling their hotline 253-967-0852, anytime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.
