Lakewood City Council to Discuss 'Legacy' Park Plan
The plan lays out a 20-year roadmap on how to build and maintain a healthy parks and recreation system.

On Monday, Lakewood leaders will discuss its "Legacy Plan," or its 20-year roadmap on building and maintaining a healthy parks and recreation system.
Based on input from community members, the city is in the process of putting together its legacy plan, which includes a vision statement, goals and, most importantly, how to pay for it.
The discussion takes place the same night the city leaders hold a joint meeting with the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
