New Diner Scores Big with "Best Family Restaurant" honor

The readers have spoken. With less than a year operational, the Nisqually Tribes' newest restaurant scores huge votes. Medicine Creek Cafe opened around May of 2018 after buying it from Norma's who was known for their American style food. The Medicine Creek Cafe also produces great breakfasts all day, delicious grass-fed beef hamburgers and they added fresh fish and healthy salads.

Medicine Creek Cafe just won the coveted "Best Family Restaurant" AND "Best Breakfast" in the Weekly Volcano's reader poll! When you try it, you will see why. Located just 5 minutes South of Joint Base Lewis-McChord along I-5, it's a an easy location to get to without dealing with traffic.

On Mondays through Thursdays, they give free meals to kids under 10 from the kids menu which has a hearty meal that kids love. To get the meal you have to order an entree from the regular menu as well. For a family of four, this is well worth it!
