Special Olympics Come To Joint Base Lewis-McChord This Weekend
Some 2,700 athletes from around the state are expected to converge on JBLM. The games will run Friday through Sunday.

This weekend, some 2,700 Special Olympics athletes from throughout Washington will converge on Joint Base Lewis-McChord for the 2013 Summer Games.
An opening ceremony is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Friday, and the games will take place Saturday and Sunday. Click here for a complete schedule and list of events.
The best part of the games? Unbridled joy and pride from athletes, their families, their coaches and anyone else who helped them achieve their goals.
