Tacoma Police Search For Serial Bank Robbery Suspect
Officers say the suspect robbed four banks in just the past eight days.

TACOMA, WA — Tacoma Police are searching for a man who they say is behind four bank robberies in just the past eight days.
According to investigators, the first robbery happened at the Columbia Bank on N 1st Street back on April 29. That was followed by a robbery Tuesday at the Columbia Bank on Union Avenue, then two more robberies Thursday at the Key Bank on S 19th Street and Wells Fargo on 6th Avenue.
Police say the same suspect is behind each robbery. In each case, he handed a bank teller a note demanding cash. Once he received the money, he took off.

Witnesses describe the suspect as being in his 30s, around 5'5" tall with a medium build. In each robbery he wore black framed glasses, a black mask, dress shirt and tie covered in a black hooded jacket.
CrimeStoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the suspect's capture. Anyone who knows more about this serial bank robber, can report information anonymously to CrimeStoppers by calling their tip line, at 1-800-222-Tips.
