Valentine-Themed Events At Pierce County Libraries

The Pierce County Library System will host several heart-melting events at multiple locations leading up to Valentine's Day.

TACOMA, WA - From Bonney Lake to DuPont and Eatonville to Tacoma, Pierce County's library system is making it easy to melt hearts this Valentine's Day. Helping folks create cards, cookies, and more, library staff across the county will play hosts to multiple Valentine-themed craft-making events between Feb. 9 and 13.

Valentine's Day Crafts

Visitors of all ages are invited to create their own customized Valentine's Day cards at three locations on two dates. While all ages are welcome, children younger than 6 years must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Feb. 9 from 2 to 3 p.m.

Valentine Confectionery Class

This Valentine candy-making event is for adults only.

Tillicum Pierce County Library, 14916 Washington Ave. S.W.

  • Feb. 11 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Valentine's Day Cookie Decorating

Decorate your own Valentine cookies at two locations the day before Valentine's Day. All ages are welcome.

Eatonville Pierce County Library, 205 Center St. W.

  • Feb. 13 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Parkland/Spanaway Pierce County Library, 13718 Pacific Ave. S. in Tacoma

  • Feb. 13 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
