The county is conducting a photo contest, with the subject being one of its trademark vessels. Winners will receive gift certificates from Espresso ByThe Bay in Steilacoom, where many of the ferries operate.

How to enter: “Like” Pierce County Public Works and Utilities on Facebook and upload your favorite photo related to the Pierce County Ferry by 5 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2013.

Winners: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be announced via the Pierce County Public Works and Utilities Facebook page on Friday, June 28, 2013.

Prizes: Gift certificates from Espresso By The Bay in Steilacoom.
