6 Bike Racks Donated To Mercer Island
The racks will be placed at schools and parks around Mercer Island.

From The City of Mercer Island:Several months ago, local bicycle and pedestrian advocacy group Neighbors in Motion (NIM) donated six heavy duty bicycle racks to the City for use around the Island.
One has already been installed at Clarke Beach, which previously had no rack at all (see photo). Two others were earmarked for an entry plaza remodel at the Mercer Island High School that will wrap up in mid-August, leaving three that still need a home.
The racks are large, holding 8-10 bicycles each, and are bolted to the ground during installation.
They are usually too large for most sidewalk locations, but please contact the City's Sustainability Manager to suggest other potential sites! Thanks again to NIM for this great offer.
