Annual MIYFS Breakfast Postponed Due To Snowstorms

The breakfast fundraiser was supposed to be this week - until the region got hit by multiple damaging snow storms.

MERCER ISLAND, WA - The Mercer Island Youth and Family Services Foundation is postponing its annual breakfast fundraiser because of the recent snowstorms. The breakfast was supposed to be held this week.

Instead, the event will happen on March 6. If you registered to attend, you should've received an email from the MIYFS Foundation confirming that you'll still attend in March. There are also slots still available.

"Thank you for standing by us during the prediction of a major winter storm, and for holding steady in your commitment to support the beloved human and social service organization on Mercer Island that is here for every Islander," MIYFS Foundation board member Lisa Katsman said. "Your generosity and support maintains the very services that provide emergency assistance, extend lifelong wellness, and foster strength and resilience to all members of our community."
