Annual Pet Blessing at CCMI: Sunday, July 17th 10:30 am
Join the Congregational Church on Mercer Island as the Rev. Roberta Rominger leads a special worship service in honor of our pets!
The bond between humans animals, both created by God, is like no other relationship. As an expression of the bond we have with all animals, we celebrate with an Annual Blessing of Animals Event. This year, the event will be on Sunday, July 17th at 10:30 am at the Congregational Church on Mercer Island.
You are welcome to bring your pet to this service to be blessed by our pastor, the Rev. Roberta Rominger. All animals of significance to you are welcome. You can bring live pets, photos of pets, even stuffed “animals.” Past attendees include a blind turtle, and many beloved cats and dogs. We have yet to see reptiles or amphibians.
A note about live pets, if you think your pet may cause harm to someone (or someone may cause harm to it), please either use a leash or a carrier.
All visitors and guests are welcome! Please join us in this joyful and fun event. We look forward to seeing you with your animal pal.
