2018 Scholarship Program For High School Senior visual arts students

The Mercer Island Visual Arts League (MIVAL) is a non-profit organization supporting visual arts on Mercer Island. The purpose of MIVAL’s Scholarship Program is to encourage and support emerging, committed and deserving High School visual artists in their desire to continue their art education after High School by providing a financial award in their senior year of High School.

Any twelfth-grade High School student residing or attending school on Mercer Island who plans to enter a college, university, community college or art institution, with the intention of pursuing an art major or continuing in the visual arts field, may apply for MIVAL’s Senior Student Scholarship. In 2018, we will award at least three scholarships. The total amount of all 2018 scholarships will be at least $2,100.

To request an application, please contact this year’s chairman, Roberta Wyde robwyde@seanet.com or (206) 713-8696. It may be submitted by email or U.S. mail. If mailed, please send to MIVAL Scholarships, c/o Roberta Wyde, P.O. Box 134, Mercer Island, WA 98040
