Ellsworth House, a 59-unit rent-subsidized senior housing building in Mercer Island, got a good score in its most recent HUD inspection, said Imagine Housing, the Eastside affordable housing nonprofit that manages the property.

The building got a 91 out of 100, which Imagine Housing Director of Assets Suzanne Koval said was an excellent score, on the nonprofit's blog.

"I am really proud of the work that went into this score," Koval said, thanking the building's maintenance staff. The inspectors "look at everything, including whether doors latch and light bulbs work," she said.
