Free Starbucks In Mercer Island: How To Score Your Cup
Patrons can get a free tall espresso drink at certain Starbucks locations as part of the company's "pop-up parties" promotion.

MERCER ISLAND, WA — Have a holiday drink and let Starbucks pick up the tab. That's the idea behind the coffee company's latest promotion, which will feature more than 1,000 "pop-up parties" at select stores across the nation through the end of the year.
Included in the list for a party Sunday is the Starbucks store in Mercer Island, at 8415 SE 68th St., according to the company.
Here's how it works: Each day for five days, more than 200 locations will be chosen to offer the promotion. You can view a list on the pop-up party site daily to view the next day's participating stores. And you have to visit during the one-hour window of the "party," from 1 to 2 p.m. local time, to get your complimentary beverage.

The promotion runs from Friday through Tuesday.
