I-90 Closures In Mercer Island This Week For Light Rail Work

MERCER ISLAND, WA — Expect daytime and overnight closures along I-90 on Mercer Island this entire week due to ongoing Sound Transit light rail work.

This week, construction crews will close the HOV ramps at Island Crest Way and East Mercer Way. There will also be a closure of the eastbound I-90 ramp to I-5 in Seattle. Here's what to expect this week, according to WSDOT:

Monday - Friday: The Island Crest Way westbound HOV on-ramp will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monday - Friday: The eastbound Island Crest Way HOV off-ramp will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monday - Friday: The westbound HOV lane at East Mercer Way will be closed 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wednesday - Thursday: The eastbound I-90 ramp to northbound I-5 wil be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 p.m. This closure is in Seattle.
