Mariners Owner Sells Mercer Island Waterfront Home for $4.9M

The home on SE 71st Place was first listed for $5.1 million on July 9.

Original Seattle Mariners owner Walter Schoenfeld, who also helped run Seattle's NBA Supersonics franchise, has sold his South End Mercer Island waterfront home for a cool $4.9 million, according to Curbed.com.

Seattle.Curbed.com reports the circa 1972 home sold on Sept. 6. The half-acre, 6,460 square-foot home features six bedrooms and six bathrooms, Mitered windows that run along the lower level of the home's roughly 100 feet of Lake Washington waterfront (including a dock), hot tub, wet bar, and three fireplaces.
