Mercer Island Businesses Host Halloween Afternoon Trick-or-Treat Event
Trick or treat in the Town Center and at South-end businesses will take place from 3-5 p.m. on Halloween, Oct. 31. Donations will support the Youth & Family Services Food Pantry.

The streets of downtown Mercer Island will be full of ghosts, goblins, Darth Vaders, princesses, skeletons and other costumed "little people" on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 31.
Around 40 businesses took part in last year's trick-or-treat and the same number or more of businesses in the Town Center and South end businesses (Mercer Village Shopping Center) are expected to take part in the 2012 annual Trick or Treating event.
Participating businesses and employees will be in costume with treats at the ready and will have posters for their doors or windows.
