Mercer Island Conducts Citizen Satisfaction Survey
The city's survey is designed to see what improvements could be made.

MERCER ISLAND, WA - The city recently conducted a survey to determine citizen satisfaction and found positive results. A total of 711 surveys were completed with 95 percent of citizens saying they were satisfied or very satisfied with Mercer Island as a place to live. Mercer Island ranks 36 percent above the Northwest regional average in this category, according to a statement from the city.
The survey tracked issues such as city services and identifying citizen priorities and community issues.
The 2018 survey was sent to randomly selected households. Ninety-four percent of respondents said they were satisfied or very satisfied with the city's safety as well. Seventy-nine percent of respondents said they were satisfied or very satisfied with city services.
