Mercer Island Food Bank In Need Of Donations

MERCER ISLAND, WA - With Thanksgiving less than a week away, Mercer Island's food pantry is in need of some specific items. The Mercer Island Youth and Family Services department runs the pantry, which is located at in Luther Burbank Park at the administration building.

Donations can be made at the food bank, Banner Bank, or the Mercer Island Thrift Shop along Southeast 34th Street.

Here are the specific items the food pantry needs right now:

• Pasta
• Boxed cereal
• Tuna
• Canned fruit
• Stuffing mixes
